This year's Varsity Wrestling squad, started by returning coach Mr. Jeff Lewis, climbed to a respectable third place in the tough Greater Cleveland Conference again this year. The Garfield matmen finished up their duel meet season with a 5-4, overall record, and a 3-2 conference record.

Senior captain, Chuck Angello, showed the way for the team this year, and exemplified the courage and the desire to win which is characteristic of all Garfield grapplers. This example, set forth by all the senior members, will shed light to continue victory in the future. Congratulations on a very successful season.
