A relatively new club at G.H.H.S. is the Chess Club. Under the supervision of Mr. Bartels, the club placed fifth in the statein the Ohio Teen Chess Tournament. In addition to indoctrinating beginners in the fundamentals of chess, this club also instills a competitive drive in its members in their tournaments.
